We invite you to join the nearly one million fans who visit our Cheese Factory in Tillamook, Oregon, each year. Find out how Tillamook Cheese is made and get answers to your cheesiest questions, like how did they get these curds so darn squeaky? You’ll find answers to these questions and more on your self-guided factory tour, with interactive kiosks, viewing windows, videos and lots of fun stops along the way. You’ll have a bird’s-eye view of our cheesemaking and packaging teams in action, churning out 167,000 pounds of Tillamook Cheese each and every day. And of course the tour wouldn’t be complete without sampling some of that cheese.


ocsf_logoGaribaldi – Rockaway Steam Train
Coast excursions are an hour and a half round trip, this includes a layover in the town opposite from where you board. This is a great time to disembark and explore the town, play on the beach, get an ice cream cone, or shop in the variety of boutiques.

Dinner Trains are a three hour round-trip from Garibaldi to Wheeler with views of Tillamook Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and Nehalem Bay. The menu varies from trip to trip so check out our special trips page or the annual schedule for dates.


Latimer Quilt and Textile Center
Located in Tillamook, Oregon. We offer exhibits of antique and contemporary quilts, weaving and spinning demonstrations, and instruction in various textile arts. The Center hosts meetings of the Oregon Coast Fiber-artisans, the Ocean Breeze Rugcrafters Guild, and the Tillamook County Quilters Guild.

There is a research library for on site use, a climate controlled textile repository, and a gift shop with hand-made items. books, and vintage and hand-dyed fabric
